Sydenham conference feedback

CMF SA member, Tamryn Baytopp, was able to attend the Sydenham International Conference in London earlier this year.  It is a 7-day conference, aimed at equipping and encouraging students and young doctors to take the lead in their communities.  Tamryn had this to say:

Kindly sponsored by CMF, I attended the Sydenham Conference in London in February this year. It was  a week long conference, where the British CMF hosted 18 young doctors and Medical students from countries less privileged, or where CMF groups need extra help. The British CMF freely shared their amazing experience, resources and connections with us and really pushed us hard to grow in scriptural knowledge, in prayer and to be active in changing the problems we identify in our countries. So it was quite an intense week. But I think the highlight was getting to know the delegates – some of whom come from countries I had not heard of and all of whom had incredible stories of the difficulties they face and how God is working in spite of them. It was such a blessing to attend.  It has expanded my world view and taught me things that with God’s help I hope to use effectively for Him in my career and life in general.

You can read more about the conference on the CMF UK website.
