To the nurses of South Africa,
Dear colleagues, as the Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) of South Africa we want to congratulate you with the ‘Year of the Nurse’. You have a great profession and a famous role model in the person of Florence Nightingale. Many of us have learnt from nurses how to care for people and to interact with the sick. Your example and compassion have been an inspiration for many of us and we realize that we can only practise our medical profession to the best of our ability if we are working side by side with competent and compassionate nurses.
We honour you and wish you well in your professional and personal life, especially those who work in the frontline of the Covid-19 pandemic. May the Lord bless you and be your Rock and your Shield.
