Christian Medical Fellowship of South Africa
CMF exists with a view to helping Christian doctors, dentists and other health workers (pre- and post-graduate) to grow in their faith and witness, and to find Christian answers to the many ethical and other problems we face in the profession.
We believe that this is an important time for strengthening and encouraging one another. We need to learn from one another how to integrate spiritual gifts and medical skills for the sake of our patients and colleagues and to our Lord's glory.

Developing Health course (DHC)Healthcare in resource-poor settings for doctors, nurses, midwives and therapists
Two week course, 8 - 20 July 2018 at the London School of Theology, Northwood
CMF UK is offering four bursary places on our annual two-week ‘Developing Health Course’ for healthcare professionals working in Global Health especially resource poor settings. The course is unique, providing high-quality medical training from 30 speakers as well as spiritual input and fellowship. Most participants are UK nationals working abroad as missionaries or preparing to go, however we are keen to include nationals from other countries -together we share learning one from another. The course has been greatly appreciated by those who have come in previous years – they take back knowledge, skills and vision to their home countries, and they are a blessing to us as they bring their international experience and perspective.
This year’s course runs from 8-20 July 2018 in London. Full information is available at www.cmf.org.uk/international/developinghealth/developing-health/
Bursaries cover all course fees and accommodation but not travel to UK. Application forms for the course are available via the website.
Please pass this information on to those you think would benefit from the course and who would use their skills to teach and envision others. Applicants must be committed Christians working in challenging settings. Doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals are welcome to apply.
